Work Day 3

~Captains Log: Star Date 20-09: Work Day 3: Hump Day - Today was a wonderful day. The morning started pretty until the girls woke up late for breakfast while looking like zombies. You think I'm kidding.. not at all. Anyways.. We got to the work site and unbeknownst and to our excitement, the clouds were covering the sun. Awesome. We are almost finished with the side porch and digging the foundation. Everyone worked very hard and wiped the sweat off of their brows. Kaleb was "working" on the rebar (although in actuality Kaleb sat on his butt, while eating all the chicken salad we had for lunch today.) While at lunch, we had devotions with the workers while David led.
~Tomorrow we are leaving the work site early to go to the village of Cherauque to deliver church pews in memory of Marybeth Ping. We will also be taking rice and beans to distribute to the people of the village.
~We had dinner and decided to show the Haitians how we eat the wonderful goodness known as spaghetti -- American style! Enjoy!
~The girls state they want to get up early to see the beautiful Haitian sunrise -- we doubt it but we will post pictures if it happens!

(Note to Melissa and Nick)
Having fun, wish you guys were here!
